Aim of the project : Moville Celtic Football Club has teamed up with health and community services in Moville to encourage men to give unhealthy lifestyle habits the kick.

Chef Brian Mc Dermott along with Fitness Instructor and club member Shane Canning delivered a focussed eight week program consisting of exercise and cooking to improve healthy lifestyle of the 16 participants who thoroughly enjoyed the program and can’t wait for the next one. The program was funded by consensus as a pilot project which has been very successfully.

The inspiration for the initiative is the football club’s passion, together with Brian and Shane enthusiasm which has been using the appeal of soccer, healthy cooking and fitness to help encourage men to lead healthier and more active lifestyles.
